January 2008 - The Sophos Email Appliance (ES1000) beat its competitors from Clearswift and IronPort in an independent review of email security appliances for up to 1000 users. eVision found that the Sophos appliance offered the best anti-spam protection and ease-of-use in an environment replicating a real-life installation. The ES1000’s automated maintenance, real-time support and remote monitoring functions also earned high scores.
